I use it just to go to half-step down on a few tunes and it works PERFECTLY. Apparently there is a noticeable slight lag with the Morpheus while people rave about the Digitech's lack of lag. But if this does the job of my Morpheus Droptune AND has at least comparable tone AND works well for bass AND does it in a smaller package, then I'm sold. More importantly, it does it so much better. Try a different guitar, sounds like the fundamental is dropping off sooner than you'd like and confusing the DSP. I tried out the Drop at NAMM and it absolutely does not glitch or sound digital when you're just moving down 3 or 4 semitones.
